Pinwheel Pairing Conclusions

In the long run the big winner int he pairing are e R Memory Keepers Pinwheel Attachments. This kit lets you make pinwheels that will spin easily with the lightest wave or a child blowing on them! You won’t be disappointed with your pinwheels made with these attachments.

Making the colorful blades comes down to what is right for your project.

The Pinwheel Punch Board is convenient and can be brought along with you to parties or kept in a desk at school ready for use. It’s simple enough that kids could make their own after seeing it done once.

For versatility the Cricut 3D Pinwheels image set offers five choices and they can be customized further in Crciut Craft Room or Cricut Design Space. If you are making pinwheels for decoration like a centerpiece the Cricut Images are definitely the inexpensive option.

Close To My Heart papers

Using double-sided paper with alternate styles is a great way to bring some excitement to your pinwheels. We used a number of different papers from Close To My Heart when we made our pinwheels for this video.

  1. I have all of the other WRMK punches but thought this one wouldn’t be as versatile, but now that I see the fun you had, well, I have to get it! Thanks so much for comparing and sharing!

  2. What a fun video love watching you both create your pinwheels and thought your views were all valid tried ad true & Ken I think you are so right that the Cricut Pinwheels as they stand are just for decoration but hey with the WeRMemory keepers accessory kit they will definitely spin. Loved the Pinwheels from the WeRMemory Punch board too. Thanks George for a chance for the Fabulous & Fun punch I’ve never seen this before. YOU both ROCK!!

  3. I prefer Memory Keepers board..do not have Cricut Explore…as I have heard a lot of negative things about it as well as good things. Love my expression 2. Since I am sending Melody my cricut dog xmas card …I am sending both of you my quilt xmas card..also using elegant edges for it.

  4. I’m pretty new to this and have learned a lot from your videos. Got my first Mystery Box in Oct., which I learned about from your “Unpacking” the box video. Keep up the good work. Now I need this punch and accessory kit!

  5. That WRMK pinwheel board is really nice. I also like the accessory kit. It really makes the project when they spin good.

  6. Great job, clear papers we would look awesome too. The key is using your kit. No kit no moving.
