It’s not just floor wax and glitter, do more than just Christmas with your acrylic globes! Here is a Haunted House Globe ready for a spooky Halloween.
George Purchased the MakeIt Market Kit: Tinsel & Tags which is a wonderful Christmas kit, but he wanted to use it now.
Inspiration struck for Halloween! George made a spooky haunted house with a lumbering monster and a pumpkin, all topped with a cloud of bats. Watch him put the project together with one of the ornament halves.
Haunted House Globe Project Files
Below are the project files you can download for free.
Even though we used an acrylic globe you can still use this project as a stand alone 3D design. We used the Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space for our project but you can use them with any electronic cutting system that supports SVGs. The only challenge would be the moon backdrop if you don’t have Print Then Cut. You can always print out the moon and cut it out by hand. It’s a circle so that shouldn’t be too rough!
MakeIt Market Kit: Tinsel & Tags
Papertrey Ink made the MakeIt Market Kit: Tinsel & Tags. It’s a wonderful kit that not includes the acrylic globes but stamps, dies, coordinating paper, and embellishments.
Check out their site for so many beautiful examples from their design team.

great video as usual….love the globe…thanks guys
I can’t get the pieces to ungroup!
Are you uploading the “HauntedHouseGlobe-CB2.svg” file? If you are using the “HauntedHouseGlobe-CB2-PREVIEW.png” that is a picture of the project not a cut file. The preview is just offered as a quick way for people to see what the project will look like if their computer can’t preview the SVG itself.
We tested the SVG file again and it will ungroup in to separate layers in Cricut Design Space when we upload it here.
Love watching and learning from your videos. I have an Expression, seems everything is geared to the Explore today. Makes me sad. Keep crafting and making videos.
