Ron Swanson Inspired Father’s Day Card

While Ron Swanson might celebrate father’s day with a handshake and some silence, we wanted you to have a card to hand him before the handshake and some silence. Join us for a Father’s Day card inspired by Ron Swanson!

Ron Swanson Inspired Father’s Day Card

This SVG file goes together quickly and we cut it on all of our electronic die cutting machines to make sure it worked out well. In the image down below the brown card is cut on the Cricut Explore Air 2, the middle one is from our Silhouette Cameo 3, and the blue version was cut on the Brother Scan N Cut 2. Even the writing is built-in with the SVG so you don’t need any special fonts installed.

Just a note though, Cricut Design Space requires you to change each individual letter to write. Guess which version George gave Ken to cut…

Items Used

We used Cricut Faux Leather for the extra touch of Masculinity for the Father’s Day card. It also gives a nice color and texture to Ron’s mustache and features! It cuts very easily on all of the electronic die cutter’s we used.

The Xyron Sticker Maker is wonderful for sticking on small and thin pieces. The ‘X’ is a 1.5″ tape and is refillable.

If you use the Xyron Sticker Maker, it’s VERY handy to have a gum eraser. It can help pick up the edges that stick out, or if you’re like me and have a piece flip over and get stickered on the wrong side, it can help clean up the misplaced adhesive.

We’re falling in love with the Easy Glide Permanent Adhesive Runner from Fun Stamper’s Journey. The tape goes on quickly and it’s cut to tear with ease. I really do find the work goes quicker using this runner.
